Tom Clancy’s The Division Game review
The Division has so much potential to emerge as one of the best action games ever, at least on the concept that they introduced at E3 2013 last. Although in the end a lot of content that changes when released to the market, it is still a fun project to be tasted along with another friend. Unfortunately, the experience is not as good as imagined for those who tasted it in the PC version. As could be predicted, in spite of all the promises in the beginning of the open beta, the PC version of the Division dealing with a cheater is quite acute. You will find those who can teleport, shoot a lot of bullets in an instant, unlimited ammo, to a variety of other benefits. The bad news? Ubisoft as had the ability to handle it at all.
Conditions such as these who invited veteran network problems - Glenn Fiedler who have eaten sour salt gaming industry for 18 years through projects such as LA Noire, Bioshock, until Titanfall to throw his analysis. Viewed network structure used Ubisoft Massive's The Division PCs, they turned out to apply the model system "Trusted Client" that keeps track of information in and out of the game via the individual rather than the server. An approach which makes it very vulnerable to manipulation. With the openness of the PC version, the user always has the freedom to change this data and give them the "power" that they should not have, including unlimited health.
The bad news? Fiedler mention that these conditions make Ubisoft Massive is nearly impossible to eradicate the problem of cheaters granted. The only way to fix this condition simply by dismantling the total The Division version of PC and network re-write code from scratch. The Division should use the model "server-authoritive" which was implemented by games like Call of Duty, Overwatch, and also Titanfall.
Worse yet? Ubisoft is already know clearly about these issues. Similar complaints have been thrown a lot of gamers since the open beta some time ago, but Ubisoft responded with "light" through the promise of the application of anti-cheat systems are qualified. The system has so far not seen at all effective.
Ubisoft still has not spoke about the claim this one. Is The PC version will be destroyed Division slowly because cheaters cases that can not be eradicated? Or Ubisoft has another alternative solution? We'll wait.
